I have literally spent the last two hours playing with the settings and layout of this site. I figured out how to screw with the html settings and will eventually find a new template, but for now (aka until I am no longer on the clock at work) I am satisfied. That's what I get for being a graphic designer.
Throughout my 7 weeks in China I am required to blog (I seriously hate that word...from here on out it will be document, archive, record, etc.) about my experience. While we have not received any instructions, I am assuming there are no specific topics and it is whatever I deem interesting, exciting, and important (haha). I do know I am required to write at least 5 times a week. There are positive and negatives to this arrangement. On the plus side, there is potential for my writing skills to improve and you get to hear from me daily. Adversely, I have to think of exciting things to write and you get to hear from daily.
In general, please be careful about what you write. I can review all messages first, but it would make my life easier if you guys just didn't write anything negative. As my mom always said "If it seems like a bad idea, don't do it." Even sarcasm can be perceived as serious. THANKS!
That is all for now. I probably won't write anything until my first day in China.
